Old French Mitchell Fishing Reels
I started buying Mitchell fishing reels In the early 1950s . Some of my first purchases were the Mitchell 300 .
I started collecting the Mitchell 300 along with several other models which were the old models made in France. The French made reels are made to last and work better than the newer models.
I like to fish for trout using the different models I have and also Salmon with the larger models of Mitchell Reels made.
I highly recommend trying the Mitchell Spinning reels for your next fishing trip. You can buy the old French made Mitchell reels on ebay at some very reasonable prices. GOOD FISHING DEL

Could you tell me how i would go about getting a Mitchell 3350 spinning reel as i used to have one . I took in in for a repair & the shop went under & i never seen it again . I,v been looking everwhere for one for the last two years .
It was the first salmon spinning reel i had .

hello del. i picked up what i believe to be a french salmon spinning reel. the side plate says fraser btes.g.d.g. under that it says saumon mer hareau-paris. the reel is in excellant condition and is extremely well built.any info you could give me on this reel would sure be appreciated.i collect old vintage and antique reels but cant find this one anywhere. thanks and good fishin joe

Hi Wayne , I am not familiar with a MItchell 3350. It must be older one. I checked on ebay to see if any were for sale. But coudn’t find one. I searched France thought might be one there., but no luck. I have a search for one on ebay and if i am notified I will let you know. Thankuou for your question and good luck fishing for Salmon.
