going fishing
I live in Salem , Oregon where it likes to rain a lot. However, the last two days I woke up to beautiful sunny skies. So, I decided to go fishing.
I decided to go to Lytle Lake located on the Oregon coast near Rockaway Beach . I like to fish for large, sea run, cut throat trout. They run from around 18" to 22" long. They are very smart and hard to catch.
I have a bucket full of special gear that I take with me to use just for these fish. I have an ultra light fishing pole with a 50 year old French made Mitchell fishing reel, with 4 pound test line on it. I grab my folding chair and my fishing net. I am now just about ready to leave but I realize one of the most important items I will need is my Polarized sunglasses.
I like these sunglasses because it is easy to see the fish in the water when you get them close to the dock. I bought these wholesale from an online company that sells sunglasses which compare to Kenneth Cole’s sunglasses. They are good quality and have American made lenses. They were only $36.00 per dozen so I gave some away to my fishing friends.
Well I am ready to go now. I will tell you in one of my next articles about how I rig my line and the best kind of bait for catching these excellent eating fish.
