I live in Salem , Oregon where it likes to rain a lot. However, the last two days I woke up to beautiful sunny skies. So, I decided to go fishing.
I decided to go to Lytle Lake located on the Oregon coast near Rockaway Beach . I like to fish for large, sea run, cut throat trout. They run from around 18" to 22" long. They are very smart and hard to catch.
I have a bucket full of special gear that I take with me to use just for these fish. I have an ultra light fishing pole with a 50 year old French made Mitchell fishing reel, with 4 pound test line on it. I grab my folding chair and my fishing net. I am now just about ready to leave but I realize one of the most important items I will need is my Polarized sunglasses.
I like these sunglasses because it is easy to see the fish in the water when you get them close to the dock. I bought these wholesale from an online company that sells sunglasses which compare to Kenneth Cole’s sunglasses. They are good quality and have American made lenses. They were only $36.00 per dozen so I gave some away to my fishing friends.
Well I am ready to go now. I will tell you in one of my next articles about how I rig my line and the best kind of bait for catching these excellent eating fish.

When I started selling the internet did not exist. I used my car or van to go out and drive to customers locations to sell my products. My territory was the state of Oregon.
My customers were always happy to see me because they knew that I always had something new and exciting to sell to them and also they had sold a lot of the items from their previous purchases.
My best selling items at that time was sunglasses . I had many styles including clip on sunglasses, children sunglasses aviator sunglasses and high fashion sunglasses, sport sunglasses were very popular then.
I gave quantity prices on orders of 50 dozen or more.
I feel the most important part of selling is to treat you customer as you would want to be treated and be honest , and caring about you customers business.

baseball cap.
A lot of people are wearing caps with different sayings on them, this has been a very popular item. Mine says SHERRIF on it. They are also nice to shade your eyes and face.

Humming birds are my favorite bird . I love how they can stop in mid air, back up, fly at high speeds. The males love to chase after the females darting around.
I have a humming bird feeder outside my living room window where I sit at my computer and write these articles . It is very relaxing on a nice sunny day to look out my window with my sunglasses on and watch them at my feeder. The male birds have beautiful colors on their body. The females are not quite as colorful .
A lot of people don’t know that the helicopter was designed from the hummingbird. Take time to enjoy the humming bird like I do.

My son has a new extended model Jaguar car. It is a beautiful car. He bought it for his wife Jeni and she loves it very much.
I have rode in it about three times and it is so quiet inside you could hear a pin drop. The interior is very comfortable, plush , with many features that i have never seen before in a car. when you put it in auto drive if you get too close to a car in front of you it will slow down automatically .
The Jaguar has a lot of power that makes you feel safe if you need it. I will write more about his Jaguar later so keep in touch . DEL

On March 28th I wrote an article about going fishing for sea run cut throat trout. In the article I wrote that I would tell you how to rig your line and what kind of bait to use.
I use 4 pound test line and I put the line thru a slip sinker “ one with a hole in it” then I tie the line to a swivel that has a small safety pin on one end. This will stop the slip sinker from going down all of the way to the hook which will be at the end of the leader. Now I tie a 2 or 3 pound test leader about 20 to 22 inches long to the safety pin end and then I tie a small egg hook to the end of the leader and now you are read to bait your hook
The bait that you use is a secret way to catch large trout. I use Berkley Powerbait Red Power Eggs and a combination of Berkley Powerbait Rainbow trout bait. I put the egg thru the hook and thread it up the line then I roll the rainbow Powerbait into a small ball big enough to cover the egg hook good, and then I slide the egg back down the line until it is tight up against the hook. Now you are ready to catch a big fish .
